Yoga is not a fitness discipline; yoga is a science and discipline meant to let the practitioner (yogi) gain control over his mind, intellect and self, being absorbed in the spirit within him (B.K.S. Iyengar).

In this session, I will present you some asanas (poses) meant to produce precise effects on the body of the practitioner, especially to bring mental and body steadiness and health.

Next, I will integrate the asanas into sequences that you can do together with me. The style of Yoga I propose you is Vinyasa Flow, characterized by the coordination of every movement with breath (inhalation or exhalation), and by the smooth flow from one posture to another.
